I do not know about you, but there are many times when life gets overwhelming and I just need encouragement.  I have learned that when you can saturate yourself in scripture, you will be reminded of all God does, and that there is not anything He will not see you through.  The most important way you can start is by praising Jesus and thanking Him for everything He has given you!  Below are just a few of my favorite verses in many different situations I have been faced with.  I hope you find these as an encouragement to you!  The below referenced scriptures come from the English Standard Version Edition.

Praise Scriptures: 

“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made! ” Psalm 139:14

“I give you thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart; before the gods I sing your praise!”Psalm 138:1

When you are afraid:

“Do not fear,only believe.” Mark 5:36

“When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.” Psalm 56:3

“In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid.” Psalm 56:4

“I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken!” Psalm 16:8

When you are tired:

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
