I spent a few years in depression and suffering from panic attacks/severe anxiety. I fought hard to become the girl I am today as I am going on seven years without any medications. I’ve learned how to deal with my anxiety I also removed myself from toxic relationships which automatically removed my depression.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month and if you do not understand what Mental Health is, you need to take the time to research and understand it. Chances are you have family members and friends suffering in silent from this because they don’t want to be misunderstood or judged. The truth is, at times, we have all experienced some of the situations that fall in this area and do not realize it. Educating yourself will help you have a better understanding of what Mental Health is. Loving and accepting people where they are at will always go further than judging them because their life looks different than yours.
