I’ve been thinking a lot lately about Proverbs 18:21.

“Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit—you choose.” MSG version

As I was walking today I noticed these beautiful purple flowers growing in the midst of the dead ones.   Or, was it the other way around? Would these beautiful flowers soon be dead because of no life around them? Are they getting what they need to grow and thrive?

How are you speaking to others? How are others observing your actions? 

We can’t say and do one thing and live the opposite; it will eventually affect those around us.

If you are experiencing a broken heart by things said or unsaid, things done or undone, chose to grow through this disappointment.

Never let disappointment define you, grow from it.

Let the words you speak through your disappointment speak life and show the love of Jesus!
