I’ve learned over the last month that God will remove even good people from your life to draw you closer to Him. This has been a challenge for me because I love being around people and talking!
I have a devotional bible with over 1600 pages, and last week when I needed clarity the most, God sent me to a devotion about being desperate for Him and talked about how we are never really alone.
That same morning within two hours two of my closest friends text me. God had placed me on their hearts on a day I felt so incredibly alone. He’s so good like that!
He reminded me that He is the only friend I have that is always there, never grows tired and can carry me through anything.
Isaiah 41:10 reminds us of this “Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”
If today finds you lonely I encourage you to spend time asking God what He is trying to tell you. Even if you are doing something that seems good and is for God, if He’s trying to move you listen. Sometimes we have to step away from comfortable to go to the next place God is calling us!
It’s never easy or comfortable but I stand firm in my faith excited to see what He is preparing for me.
