Easter weekend is my favorite weekend!!!

I’ve heard several people comment their kids are too big for Easter this week and that breaks my heart.

If that is how you feel, you are missing the real meaning of Easter.

When I think of Easter I’m overwhelmed with emotion.  Jesus came into this world without sin, yet He was beaten and crucified hanging on the cross to die for our sins! To give us hope, a future, forgiveness and a grace none of us deserve. This is something that could never be bought.

Easter goes far beyond the eggs, bunnies, candy, and new clothes.

Easter is the cross, the empty tomb, it is Jesus suffering for me, and for you.

If this isn’t how you know Easter, I pray this is the Easter you find the real meaning.

I pray that you come to know Jesus and the true Joy He has waiting for you.

It’s a free gift, you just simply have to ask Him to come into your heart and to forgive you of all your sins.
