Grace is absolutely one of my favorite words. When I hear the word grace I am overwhelmed with emotions for all God has done for me.
The grace of Jesus covers us at all times, even in the times we are not following Him as we should, His grace is covering us.
I can look back in my life and see many times how God’s grace protected me.
One definition of grace is freely given unmerited love of Jesus.
When I think about my life, where I was and where I am now, I think about the butterfly.
In the beginning it is plain and not beautiful. However, with time God develops it into something so colorful and so beautiful.
That is exactly how I feel about my life. While it looked very dark and not so beautiful at times, God has used that to develop something beautiful. Every day my prayer is that others can see the joy of Jesus shining through me. Every day my prayer is that my eyes are open to the opportunities to serve Jesus in every way, not missing an opportunity to help lead others to Him.
I had my husband design the word grace and butterfly in my new tattoo. I love it and think he did an amazing job with it!
Our life story is a walking testimony to be used to help lead others to Christ.
I’m not sure where you are at on your journey, but I hope this helps you realize regardless where you are in your life, God will use it to make something beautiful.
As you go about your day today, be reminded that God’s grace is covering you.
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” 2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV
“But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions -it is by GRACE you have been saved” Ephesians 2:4-5
