Often we hear people say they need a sign from God. How often does God send those signs and we overlook them or brush them off?
I believe this happens on a daily basis. In my walk with God, as I draw closer in to His presence He sends signs that He knows I need whether I ask out loud for them or not, because He knows my heart.
In one week He has graciously sent me three signs.
On Tuesday as I was headed to a women’s bible study at church I called my mom telling her I needed to be reminded I was a good mom. Sometimes I just don’t feel like I am, but I realize that’s the enemy. She kindly reminded me I was a good mom, however the next day God reminded me in a better way through the picture I’ve attached. My 15 year old daughter posted a comment on instagram stating she wanted to be more like me. Now I’m going to be the first to say the relationship between my daughter and I is supernatural and a gift from God. It is definitely not like any other and I am so blessed God chose me to be her mom.
Yesterday driving to church I was thinking to myself I wish I had that one best friend that you can tell everything to, not be judged, and be there for each other no matter what. At my age, I really felt I didn’t have this because four years ago my life radically changed to full on live for Jesus. As I was looking out the window a car drove by that had written on its window “Remember your brother loves you”. I didn’t point it out because that was something God sent just for me reminding me of how blessed I am to have the relationship with my brother I do. He always has my back and will always be my very best friend. God picked that perfect best friend for me 40 years ago!
Then as we arrive at church a friend I haven’t known very long could tell something was bothering me. In talking to her she gave a testimony of how she had walked through something similar and that she would be praying.
It’s easy when you are walking through different trials in life to get down and focus on the negative but that is not what our Father wants. He loves us more than anyone else ever will. He wants what’s best for us.
Today may your faith be increased and may you see the signs God puts in front of you taking nothing going for granted.
“And it is impossible to please God without faith.Anyone who wants to come to Him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6
